A mixture of 2-cyano-N,N-dihexyl-4-nitroaniline (2.89 g, 8.72 mmol) and Pd/C (0.30 g) in MeOH (30 mL) under H2 was stirred at rt overnight. The mixture was filtered, and the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by a silica gel column chromatography (PE/EtOAc (V/V)=5:1) to give the title compound as colorless oil (1.55 g, 59%).
