A solution of (S)-3,5-dichloro-4-(2-(3-(cyclopropylmethoxy)-4-(difluoromethoxy)phenyl)-2-(2-(1,3-dioxoisoindolin-2-yl)acetoxy)ethyl)pyridine 1-oxide (500 mg, 0.823 mmol) (prepared in analogous manner as described in Example 4, Scheme 4) in 2,2,2-trifluoroacetic acid (7.5 ml, 0.823 mmol) was stirred at RT for 8 hours. Then the solvent was evaporated under vacuum, and the residue was taken up several times with AcOEt/Et20 and evaporated under reduced pressure to afford 302 mg of the title compound (66% yield).
