A mixture of 2-[4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)phenoxy]-3-{[2-(trimethylsilyl)ethoxy]methyl}-3H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine (100 mg), 3-bromo-1-ethyl-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-b]pyridine (140 mg), Pd(PPh3)4 (7 mg), Na2CO3 (79 mg), DME (5 mL), and water (1 mL) was refluxed overnight under Ar atmosphere. The mixture was poured into water and extracted with AcOEt. The extract was washed with brine, dried over Na2SO4, and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (AcOEt/hexane) and recrystallized from AcOEt/hexane to give the title compound (90 mg).
