A mixture of 3-[4-(benzyloxy)phenyl]-6-fluoro-1-(1-methylethyl)-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-b]pyridine (130 mg) and 10% Pd—C (100 mg) in EtOH (20 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 1 h under H2 atmosphere, filtered and evaporated. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (hexane/AcOEt) to give the title compound (76 mg).
