Reaction Steps
To a cooled solution of 5.55 g of 3,4-dihydro-9-[[2-[bis(4-fluorophenyl)methoxy]ethyl]amino]acridin-1(2H)-one in 100 ml of tetrahydrofuran was added 6.5 ml of 1M solution of lithium aluminum hydride in tetrahydrofuran. This was stirred for 1 hour at ice bath temperature.
