Reaction Steps
In a manner similar to that of Example 1(f), starting with 75 g (230 mmol) of tert-butyl (4′-formylbiphenyl-3-ylmethyl)methylcarbamate and 35 g (275 mmol) of 2,4-thiazolidine dione, 84 g (86%) of the expected product are obtained.
