Procedure

A mixture of 3-(3-trifluoromethylimidazo[1,2-b][1,2,4]triazin-7-yl)phenylamine and 2,5-dimethoxytetrahydrofuran in acetic acid was heated at 130° C. for 20 min. The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by flash chromatography (silica gel, 10% Et2O/isohexane) to give 40 mg (62%) of the title compound: 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 6.41 (2H, t, J 2.2 Hz), 7.18 (2H, t, J 2.2 Hz), 7.51 (1H, ddd, J 8.3, 2.5, 1.1 Hz), 7.62 (1H, t, J 8.3 Hz), 7.92 (1H, dt, J 8.8, 1.1 Hz), 8.21 (1H, t, J 2.2 Hz), 8.66 (1H, s), 8.81 (1H, s); MS (ES+) m/z 330 [M+H]+.
