This compound was obtained following Method B starting from 2-(5-chloro-1H-indol-3-yl)ethanamine hydrochloride (0.0456 g, 0.193 mmol), 4-methyloxazole-5-carbonyl chloride (0.029 g; 0.193 mmol), and triethylamine (0.068 mL; 0.483 mmol) in dichloromethane (3 mL). Flash chromatography on silica gel eluting with 4 to 30% of ethyl acetate in dichloromethane gave 0.0458 g (78%) of N-(2-(5-Chloro-1H-indol-3-yl)ethyl)-4-methyloxazole-5-carboxamide as a solid.
