A solution of EXAMPLE 46B (6.5 g) in ether (50 mL) was added dropwise to a suspension of LiAlH4 (1.2 g) in ether (60 mL). Once the addition was finished, the mixture was refluxed for 90 minutes, cooled to 0° C. and 2N aqueous NaOH (50 mL) was added slowly. The mixture was then extracted with ethyl acetate (300 mL) and the organic layer was washed with brine and dried over Na2SO4. Filtration and evaporation of the solvent provided the title compound.
