Reaction Steps

The crude tert-Butyl 4-((5-bromo-4-chloro-2-methoxybenzyl)(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)carbamoyl)piperidine-1-carboxylate was dissolved in 50% TFA in DCM (10 mL) and the resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 h. The mixture was concentrated in vacuo and the residue was partitioned between DCM and saturate NaHCO3 aqueous solution. The organic layer was washed with brine, dried over Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated in vacuo to afford the desired product.
