To a solution of compound 1-H (79.6 mg, 0.37 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (2 mL), cooled to 0° C., was added methyl triflate (46 μL, 0.407 mmol). The reaction mixture was allowed to warm to ambient temperature and stirred for 3 hours. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure to afford compound 1-I as a white solid. MS (method 2): m/z 229.9 (MH+).
