A mixture of 5-bromo-N-[3-(1H-tetrazol-5-yl)phenyl]thiophene-2-sulfonamide (Intermediate 17) (19 mg, 0.05 mmol), 5-fluoro-2-methoxyphenylboronic acid (10 mg, 0.06 mmol), Pd(PPh3)4 (3 mg, 0.0025 mmol), NaHCO3 (13 mg, 0.15 mmol), EtOH (750 μL) and water (250 μL) was heated in a sealed tube at 80° C. over night. The mixture was concentrated and purified by preparative HPLC (ACE C8 5 μm, 0.1% TFA in water/CH3CN) giving 4.1 mg (19%) of the title compound. MS (ESI+) calcd for C18H14FN5O3S2 431.052209, found 431.051439.
