Prepared according to the described general procedure 1 (GP1) by reaction of methyl 6-amino-6-(3,5-dimethoxypyridin-4-yl)hexanoate with commercially available [1,1′-biphenyl]-3-carbaldehyde. Subsequent purification by preparative HPLC afforded the target compound. LC-MS (conditions A): tR=0.68 min.; [M+H]+: 416.99 g/mol.
