Reaction Steps

To a solution of tert-butyl 5-(2-cyanoethyl)pyrazin-2-ylcarbamate (25 mg, 0.101 mmol) in DCM (0.336 mL) was added TFA (0.1 mL, 1.298 mmol) at room temperature. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 h. After quenched with sat. NaHCO3, the reaction mixture was extracted with DCM. The combined organic layer was washed with water and brine, dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate. Filtered and concentrated in vacuo. The crude product was used in next step reaction without purification. LCMS (m/z): 149.1 (MH+), 0.24 min.
