Reaction Steps
Triethylamine (0.340 mL, 2.41 mmol) and N-hydroxyphthalimide (0.333 g, 2.04 mmol) were added to a suspension of N-{3-[4-amino-2-(chloromethyl)-1H-imidazo[4,5-c][1,5]naphthyridin-1-yl]propyl}-2-methylpropanamide (0.670 g, 1.86 mmol) in DMF (10 mL). The reaction was allowed to stir at room temperature for 4 hours, then was concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was triturated with methanol to afford 0.848 g of N-[3-(4-amino-2-{[(1,3-dioxo-1,3-dihydro-2H-isoindol-2-yl)oxy]methyl}-1H-imidazo[4,5-c][1,5]naphthyridin-1-yl)propyl]-2-methylpropanamide as a tan solid.
