Compound 44 was prepared following general synthesis scheme 8 wherein 4-hydroxypyrido[3,2-d]pyrimidine-8-carboxamide (G) was reacted with N—[(S)-2-Amino-2-(4-chloro-3-methyl-phenyl)-ethyl]-N-methyl-4-nitro-benzenesulfonamide hydrochloride to give the title compound as a white solid. LC/MS [371 (M+H)]; 1H NMR (500 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 9.95 (s, 1H), 9.08 (s, 1H), 8.99 (d, J=4.3 Hz, 1H), 8.53 (s, 1H), 8.37 (d, J=4.3 Hz, 1H), 8.17 (s, 1H), 7.43 (s, 1H), 7.34 (d, J=8.2 Hz, 1H), 7.29 (d, J=8.1 Hz, 1H), 5.54-5.26 (m, 1H), 3.21-3.03 (m, 1H), 3.00-2.77 (m, 1H), 2.30 (s, 6H), 1.78 (s, 1H).
