Reaction Steps
To product of example 205 (21.5 mg, 0.05 mmol) in methylene chloride (1 mL) was added chlorosulfonyl-acetic acid methyl ester (35 mg, 0.2 mmol) and triethylamine (30 μl, 0.22 mmol) and the resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 days. Upon completion of the reaction, the solvent was removed under reduced pressure. The residue was chromatographedon silica gel eluting with 199:1 dichloromethane:methanol. The product was dissolved in dichloromethane and added two drops of acetic acid, then stirred at rt for 10 min, washed with water. The organic layer was dried with magnesium sulfate and evaporated in vacuo to give the title compound (2 mg, 7%). 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6): δ 0.99 (d, J=6.62 Hz, 6 H) 1.57 (m, 2 H) 1.70 (m, 1 H) 3.65 (s, 3 H) 4.40 (s, 2 H) 4.49 (m, 2 H) 7.50 (dd, J=7.91, 4.60 Hz, 1 H) 7.59 (dd, J=8.82, 2.57 Hz, 1 H) 7.66 (d, J=2.57 Hz, 1 H) 7.76 (d, J=8.82 Hz, 1 H) 8.57 (dd, J=8.09, 1.84 Hz, 1 H) 8.90 (dd, J=4.41, 1.84 Hz, 1 H) 10.73 (s, 1 H) 14.15 (s, 1 H).
