The title compound was prepared using a procedure similar to that of N-(3-cyclopentyl-1-hydroxy-1,3-dihydro-benzo[c][1,2]oxaborol-6-yl)-2-trifluoromethyl-benzamide with 2-chlorobenzoyl chloride replacing 2-trifluoromethylbenzoyl chloride. Data: LCMS (M/Z): 356 (M+H); 1H NMR (acetone) δ: 9.51 (br. s., 1H), 8.18 (d, J=1.8 Hz, 1H), 7.79 (dd, J=8.2, 2.0 Hz, 1H), 7.60 (dd, J=7.0, 1.7 Hz, 1H), 7.36-7.52 (m, 5H), 5.13 (d, J=4.8 Hz, 1H), 2.32 (quin, J=8.2 Hz, 1H), 1.82-1.92 (m, 1H), 1.63-1.74 (m, 2H), 1.52-1.59 (m, 2H), 1.30-1.40 (m, 1H), 1.07-1.15 (m, 1H), 0.80-0.89 (m, 1H).
