Reaction Steps
By the method of Example 1, 6-methoxy-4-chromanone (10.0 g) and 3-indolecarbaldehyde were converted to present title product recrystallized from CH3OH/CH2Cl2, 16.7 g (98%), m.p. 217-219° C.
