0.85 g (7.5 mmol) of methyl fluorosulfonate is added, while stirring at 25° C., to a solution of 0.59 9 (1 mmol) of N-(4-succinimidyloxycarbonylphenyl)-N-(4-toluenesulfonyl)acridine-9-carboxamide in 30 ml of 1,2-dichloroethane. The reaction product precipitates out within 4 hours. Filtration with suction and drying result in 0.43 g (60.8% of theory) of the desired product.
