The title compound was prepared by Method A using 1-phenyl-1-trimethylsilyloxy)ethylene (2.62 g, 13.6 mmol) and diethyl ester of 2-(isopropyl)phenoxy propanedioic acid (2.0 g, 6.8 mmol). 1H NMR (250 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 1.25 (d, 6H), 3.44 (m, 1H), 6.67 (d, 1H), 6.89 (s, 1H), 7.0 (t, 1H), 7.09 (t, 1H), 7.29 (d, 1H), 7.53 (m, 3H), 7.83 (m, 2H).
