Procedure

The title compound is prepared by reacting 4-cyano-4-phenylpiperidine with 1-(2-bromoethyl)phthalimide to obtain 1-[2-(4-cyano-4-phenylpiperidin-1-yl)ethyl]phthalimide and reacting it with hydrazine.
