Reaction Steps

Prepared as described in Example 21, starting from 0.50 g of 7-amino-6-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-2-(3-diethylamino-propylamino)-pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine from Example 114 and 0.17 mL of tert-butyl isocyanate. The product was purified by reverse phase preparative HPLC on a C18 reverse phase column, eluting with a solvent gradient starting from 95% of 0.1% trifluoroacetic acid in water/5% of 0.1% trifluoroacetic acid in acetonitrile to 65% of 0.1% trifluoroacetic acid in water/35% of 0.1% trifluoroacetic acid in acetonitrile, mp 86-91° C.
