Reaction Steps
343 g 1,3-bis-(2-nitrophenoxy)-2,2-dimethyl-propane were hydrogenated at 60° C./50 bar in 1800 ml DMF in the presence of 53 g Raney nickel. After the uptake of hydrogen had stopped, the catalyst was filtered off and the solvent was removed in vacuo.
