Reaction Steps

By using 1.0 g of L-alanyl-N-(indan-2-yl)glycine, 6.0 g of 2-oxo-butyric acid and 1.0 g of sodium cyanoborohydride in a similar procedure to that of Example 1, there can be obtained 0.4 g of N-(1-carboxypropyl)-L-alanyl-N-(indan-2-yl)glycine as colorless powder.
