Yield: 48%; yellow solid; mp>260° C.; IR (KBr) νmax/cm−1 3303, 2842, 2233, 1709, 1629, 1613, 1583, 1522, 1466, 1388, 1347, 1275, 1219, 1185, 1166, 1060, 1014, 989, 828, 809; 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 8.54 (d, 1H, J=9.0 Hz), 8.15 (s, 1H), 7.88 (d, 1H, J=9.0 Hz), 7.35 (d, 2H, J=8.1 Hz), 6.73 (d, 2H, J=8.1 Hz), 3.17 (m, 4H), 1.99 (m, 4H); HRMS calcd for C20H17N6S (M+H+): 373.1235, found 373.1218.
