Reaction Steps
Hydantoin (7 mg, 0.07 mmol) and 5-(5-chloro-2-fluorophenylamino)-7-(2-morpholinopropylamino)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-3-carbaldehyde (15 mg, 0.035 mmol) were dissolved in ethanol (0.5 mL) along with piperidine (7 uL, 0.07 mmol). The reaction was heated at 80° C. for 1 hour in the microwave. The reaction was then cooled to r.t., diluted with water, and the precipitate was collected and washed with water, 1:1 ethanol:water, then ethanol. The yellow solid was dried in vacuo to give 5-((5-(5-chloro-2-fluorophenylamino)-7-(2-morpholinopropylamino)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin-3-yl)methylene)imidazolidine-2,4-dione (5 mg, 28% yield).
