Following the same procedure as described in example 3, 2-(dimethylamino)ethanol (798 mg, 10 eq) and (Z)-4-(1-(6-chloropyridin-3-yl)-2-phenylbut-1-enyl)phenol (300 mg, 1 eq, prepared from example 1) were reacted to get the desired product (260 mg, 75% yield). 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.54 (s, 1H), 7.14-7.20 (m, 2H), 7.01-7.09 (m, 5H), 6.93 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 1H), 6.78 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 2H), 5.84 (d, J=8.8 Hz, 1H), 4.22 (t, J=5.2 Hz, 2H), 2.70 (t, J=5.2 Hz, 2H), 2.50 (q, J=7.2 Hz, 2H), 2.35 (s, 6H), 0.91 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 3H); m/z=389 [M+1]+.
