Reaction Steps
A mixture of (Z)-4-(1-(4-(2-chloroethoxy)phenyl)-2-(1,4-dioxaspiro[4.5]decan-8-yl)but-1-enyl)phenol (90 mg, 0.20 mol), 30% aqueous of CH3NH2 (5 mL), and MeOH (5 mL) was heated at 85° C. in a sealed tube overnight, concentrated, and purified by column chromatography to give the desired product (90 mg).
