Following the procedure described for 4-azido-5-chloro-pyridine-3-carbaldehyde, 5-bromo-4-chloropyridine-3-carbaldehyde and sodium azide were reacted to afford the title compound as a pale yellow solid (3.18 g, 83% yield). 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3): δ 10.30 (s, 1H), 8.85 (s, 1H), 8.79 (s, 1H).
