Prepared from nortropan-3-one (2.00 g, 16.0 mmol) and (2-chloropyrimidin-5-yl)-boronic acid (2.53 g, 16.0 mmol) in accordance with General Method C to give the title compound (1.90 g, 48%) as a pale orange oil. δH (DMSO-d6) 8.93 (s, 2H), 8.70 (s, 2H), 4.95-4.90 (m, 2H), 3.68-3.60 (m, 2H), 2.65-2.59 (m, 2H), 2.35-2.26 (m, 2H), 2.12-2.07 (m, 2H), 1.75-1.68 (m, 2H). LCMS (pH 3): MH+ (248.8), RT 0.87 minutes.
