To a stirred solution of 36-3 (0.13 g, 0.43 mmol) in ethanol (7 mL) under N2 was added 10% palladium on carbon (0.03 g, 0.03 mmol) in ethanol. The resulting mixture was flushed several times with H2 gas. The resulting mixture was stirred overnight under a balloon of hydrogen. The mixture was flushed with nitrogen and filtered through celite. The filtrate was concentrated to give 36-4. (0.10 g, 84%). LRMS (ES) (M+H)+: observed=291.2, calculated=291.4.
