Reaction Steps
In a reactor equipped with a stirring bar and a thermometer, 683 parts by mass of water, 16 parts by mass of sodium salt of sulfate ester of methacrylic acid ethylene oxide adduct (ELEMINOL RS-30, manufactured by Sanyo Chemical Industries, Ltd.), 83 parts by mass of styrene, 83 parts by mass of methacrylic acid, 110 parts by mass of butyl acrylate and 1 part by mass of ammonium persulfate were charged, which was stirred at 400 rpm for 15 minutes, and a white emulsion was obtained. The emulsion was heated so that the system has a temperature of 75° C. and was subjected to a reaction for 5 hours. Further, 30 parts by mass of a 1-% by mass aqueous solution of ammonium persulfate were added, which was aged at 75° C. for 5 hours, and an aqueous dispersion solution of a vinyl resin (a copolymer of styrene-methacrylic acid-butyl acrylate-sodium salt of sulfate ester of methacrylic acid ethylene oxide adduct) [styrene-acrylic resin particle dispersion liquid] was obtained.
