Following the procedure in Example 118A, 1-m-tolyl-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-5-amine (380 mg, 1.58 mmol) and phenyl chloroformate (0.60 mL, 4.74 mmol) were reacted to give phenyl 1-m-tolyl-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-5-ylcarbamate (330 mg, 0.91 mmol, 58%). 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 10.4 (br s, 1H), 7.62-6.85 (m, 10H), 2.46 (s, 3H); LC-MS (ESI) m/z 362 (M+H)+.
