Following the procedure in Example 118A, 3-tert-butyl-1-(3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-1H-pyrazol-5-amine (344 mg, 1.21 mmol) and phenyl chloroformate (0.25 mL, 1.82 mmol) were reacted to give phenyl 3-tert -butyl-1-(3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-1H-pyrazol-5-ylcarbamate (119 mg, 0.42 mmol, 35%). 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 10.05 (s, 1H), 7.62-7.50 (m, 3H), 7.58-7.43 (m, 3H), 7.23 (t, 1H), 7.12 (br s, 2H), 6.39 (s, 1H), 1.29 (s, 9H); LC-MS (ESI) m/z 404 (M+H)+.
