2,4,4-Trimethyl-8-nitro-2,4-dihydro-1H-benzo[b][1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-d][1,4]oxazin-1-one (249 mg) and 10% Pd—C were suspended in methanol (5 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature under H2 atmosphere (1 atm) overnight. The catalyst was filtered off over celite and washed with methanol (5×20 mL). The filtrate was evaporated to give 8-amino-2,4,4-trimethyl-2,4-dihydro-1H-benzo[b][1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-d][1,4]oxazin-1-one (245 mg, quant).
