Reaction Steps
A mixture of Example 2D (0.05 g, 0.131 mmol), ethanesulfonyl chloride (0.051 g, 0.393 mmol), and triethylamine (0.080 g, 0.787 mmol) in dichloromethane (3 mL) was stirred at ambient temperature for 2 hours. The solvent was removed, and the residue was treated with sodium hydroxide (0.656 mL, 1.31 mmol) and dioxane (3 mL). The reaction mixture was heated at 80° C. for 3 hours. After cooling, the reaction mixture was partitioned between water and ethyl acetate. The aqueous layer was extracted three times with ethyl acetate. The combined organic layers were washed with saturated aqueous sodium chloride, dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, filtered, and concentrated to give the title compound.
