Procedure
A mixture of Example 17C (0.02 g, 0.060 mmol), 2,4-difluorophenol (2) (0.012 g, 0.090 mmol), and cesium carbonate (0.029 g, 0.090 mmol) in DMSO was heated at 110° C. overnight. The reaction mixture was partitioned between water and ethyl acetate. The aqueous layer was extracted with additional ethyl acetate twice. The combined organic layers were washed with brine, dried over MgSO4, filtered, and concentrated to give the title compound (0.025 g, 0.056 mmol, 94% yield).
