30 mg (0.18 mmol) 1-(tetrahydropyran-4-yl)-piperazine were added at RT to a solution of 80 mg (0.16 mmol) (R)-1-carboxy-2-(3-ethyl-4-hydroxy-5-methyl-phenyl)-ethyl 4-(2-oxo-1,2,4,5-tetrahydro-1,3-benzodiazepin-3-yl)-piperidine-1-carboxylate, 57 mg (0.18 mmol) TBTU and 28 μL (0.20 mmol) triethylamine in 1 mL DMF and the reaction mixture was stirred for 2 h. The reaction solution was purified by HPLC without any further working up, the fractions containing the product were combined and lyophilised.
