To 2.0 g of 2-amino-4-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)-6-methoxy-1,3,5-triazine suspended in 35 mL of dry methylene chloride was added 4.4 g of a 50% solution of 2-n-propoxybenzenesulfonyl isocyanate in methylene chloride. The mixture was stirred overnight at ambient temperature and the resulting solution stripped to an amber oil which was triturated with ethanol to give 1.42 g of white solid with m.p. 161°-163° (dec).
