Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared according to the procedure described in step 2 of Example 1 from 4-chloro-2-[(ethoxycarbonyl)amino]benzonitrile (Example 1, step 5 1) and 2-bromoacetyl4-methylpyridine hydrobromide (F. H. Case et al., J. Am. Chem. Soc., 1956, 78, 5842).
