Procedure
4-Dimethylaminopiperidine (1.0 mmol) and 2-[(5-chloro-1H-indole-2-carbonyl)-amino]-3-phenyl-propionic acid (1.0 mmol) were coupled according to Procedure A. The residue was purified by chromatography on silica gel eluted with 5-30% ethanol in dichloromethane containing 0.5% ammonium hydroxide, followed by trituration with ether: Yield 21 mg, 5%; PBMS 453/455 (MH+, 100%);
