Procedure
A solution of 3.0 g of 2,6-difluorobenzoylisocyanate in 10 ml of dry toluene is added at room temperature to a solution of 4 g of 2-fluoro-4-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)-5-chloroaniline in 50 ml of dry toluene, and the batch is stirred for 10 hours. Subsequently, about 75% of the solvent is removed by rotary evaporation. The resultant precipitate is isolated by suction filtration, washed with a small amount of cold toluene and hexane and dried in vacuo, affording the title compound of the formula ##STR15## in the form of a white, crystalline powder; m.p.: 201°-202° C.
