Reaction Steps

To a solution of phenylmethyl [((3S,4R)-4-hydroxy-1-{2-[6-(methyloxy)-3-oxopyrido[2,3-b]pyrazin-4(3H)-yl]ethyl}-3-piperidinyl)methyl]carbamate (234 mg; 0.502 mmol) in EtOH was added 20% Pd(OH)2/C (100 mg). The mixture was hydrogenated at 1 atm of H2 at ambient temperature overnight. The crude product was filtered through Celite, washed with ethanol and concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain the product (170 mg; 100%)
