Prepared as in Example 1c-JF from (R)-methyl 7-hydroxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline-3-carboxylate hydrochloride (Example 13-2c) and tert-butylchlorodimethylsilane. Yield 79%, yellow oil (1.15 g, 79%). MS 322 (MH+).
