6-(4-Fluoro-phenyl)-3-methyl-imidazo[2,1-b]thiazole-2-carbonitrile (example 20, 140 mg, 0.54 mmol), hydroxylamine hydrochloride (226.9 mg, 3.26 mmol) and triethylamine (529 μl, 3.8 mmol) were stirred in 10 ml of isopropanol at 90° C. for 2 hours. The solvent was removed in vacuo and water was added. The solid was filtered, washed with diluted hydrochloric acid and water and was dried. Yield: 63%. MS: M+H+=291.15.
