1-(2-Chloro-3,6-difluorobenzyl)-7-iodo-3,4-dihydro-1H-pyrido[2,3-b]pyrazin-2-one (280 mg) was reacted with 4-ethoxycarbonyl phenyl boronic acid as in General Procedure 4A, with the modification that the mixture was heated to 130° C. in a microwave oven for 5 minutes. The title compound was obtained as a white solid after silica gel chromatography (19% yield). M.p. 180-182° C., LCMS: m/z=458.37 (M+H+), 1H-NMR (DMSO-d6, 400 MHz) δ 1.34 (t, J=7.1 Hz, 3H), 4.08 (s, 2H), 4.33 (q, J=7.1 Hz, 2H), 5.39 (s, 2H), 7.18 (bs, 1H), 7.29-7.33 (m, 1H), 7.39-7.47 (m, 1H), 7.42 (s, 1H), 7.46 (d, J=8.3 Hz, 2H), 7.66 (d, J=8.3 Hz, 2H), 7.97 (s, 1H).
