1-(2,5-Difluorobenzyl)-7-iodo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrido[2,3-b]pyrazine (500 mg) was reacted with 4-ethoxycarbonyl phenyl boronic acid as in General Procedure 4A to give the title compound as an off-white solid (63% yield). M.p. 173-174° C., LCMS: m/z=410.30 (M+H+), 1H-NMR (CDCl3, 400 MHz) δ 1.39 (t, J=7.1 Hz, 3H), 3.45 (t, J=5.0 Hz, 2H), 3.61-3.66 (m, 2H), 4.37 (q, J=7.1 Hz, 2H), 4.49 (s, 2H), 5.32 (bs, 1H), 6.78 (d, J=1.5 Hz, 1H), 6.89-6.96 (m, 1H), 6.99-7.08 (m, 2H), 7.45 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 2H), 7.76 (d, J=1.8 Hz, 2H), 8.02 (d, J=8.6 Hz, 2H).
