2-[o-(β-Morpholino-ethoxy)-styryl]-pyridine was prepared from 2-[o-(β-chloro-ethoxy)-styryl]-pyridine (m.p. 57°-58° C.) and morpholine, and the free base was converted into its dihydrochloride, yielding 53% of theory of the compound of the formula ##STR10## which had a melting point of 248° C.
