Reaction Steps

The title compound was prepared in essentially quantitative yield by reducing trans-N-(1-methyldecyl)-2-(4-nitrophenyl)cyclopropanecarboxamide with iron powder in glacial acetic acid, in a manner analogous to Preparation 34.
